


Unlanded sons will still produce decadence though not as much decadence as they would if they managed to produce offspring. You also don't want to have too many sons. Otherwise it gets impossible to manage decadence very quickly and you will have guaranteed wars of succession. If you do that and execute all your brothers when you switch to a new ruler, you should be fine. Playing as a Muslim ruler game play is pretty much the same as playing a catholic ruler as long as you follow the important rule of never ever ever ever landing any member of your family with the exception of your chosen successor.
