The friendship system with companions makes more sense and is a lot of fun. The characters are great (yay Bioware games), and the storyline is interesting. However, there's a lot about the game that's really good, too.
There's some things that can get annoying - common complaints include repeated environments and wave enemy spawning. We get this question a lot, actually, and the responses tend to boil down to this: I've used it with just about every playthrough ever since I found it. I also second Vow of Pride Armor Set as suggested by /u/Disorderness. Sabal's Companion Weapons Pack (S C W P) - a set of unique weapons specific to each companion that improves with level-up, similar to Bianca (Bethany and Carver don't seem to be included, unfortunately). Orana Without Makeup - if you think the female elven slave you come across during the quest A Bitter Pill looks a little.clown-ish, this mod will remove her makeup and make her look a little less bizarre. No More Bloody Teeth - if you have persistent gore enabled, this keeps blood spatter from showing up on everyone's teeth.
Also includes a file to replace male Hawke's running animation with female Hawke's, just for giggles. Magic Merrill - a morph that makes Merrill look a bit closer to her DA:O model.įemale Hawke Movement Animation Tweak - replaces female Hawke's running animation with that of male Hawke.
